At Turner County Elementary School we utilize the cluster grouping and resource models for serving our gifted population. Our gifted resource program, led by Mrs. Suzi Mathis, focuses on helping further develop students’ specific areas of talent allowing us to provide for students who have needs beyond the typical development of their peers. GATE students participate in classroom activities that build their critical thinking skills, boost opportunities for creative thinking and expression, and allow opportunities to make connections across all subject areas through several well planned units of study.
